Richmond Downs Dairy Farm is one of New Zealand’s most progressive dairy operations, combining world-class animal welfare, advanced automation, sustainable infrastructure, and modern farm design.
Located in the Waikato, Richmond Downs represents a new generation of dairy farming where technology, efficiency, and innovation work together to create an exceptional environment for both livestock and staff.
To support this vision, Richmond Downs partnered with H3 New Zealand to design and supply a complete lighting and electrical infrastructure solution across the property.

New Zealand's First Smart Richmond Batten Installation
Richmond Downs became the first dairy facility in New Zealand to install more than 100 Smart Richmond Battens designed by H3 Lighting Engineer Jack Johns.
The Richmond Batten was selected for its exceptional durability and performance in demanding agricultural environments, including IP69K wash-down protection, smart control capability, and long operational life.
